Oh wow it’s been a while

I’ve been gone for… a long time or so. Partially because it was beginning to be a hassle to deal with two blogs on top of school, the play, and all my other stressers. Partially because all of the fitness blogs I was following started me on a rather unhealthy habit. Seeing all of the calories in things and suddenly being able to estimate how many I ate during any given day was getting bad… I had a bit of an addiction with getting a smaller number. And given the fact that I need very badly to get back in shape before the Tour of the Battenkill, this habit needed to stop! So I’ve unfollowed all of the blogs that I know will make me want to start up on that again.

And if you’ve read all that - wow. But anyways, this blog will be turning in a new direction! Well, maybe the same direction. But more so. And with more attention.

I’ll have more focus on food - not in the “don’t eat this, eat this”, “super low cal!”, or “nutritious and no taste!” sort of way. But in the, “I made this cake look at it are you impressed” sort of way. I’ve been doing so much cooking and baking, why not give it some attention? So be prepared for pictures of delicious, mouth-watering, tempting goodness - both healthy and not so much.

I’ll probably be talking a lot about cycling, too, since my season is about to start up! So be prepared!

Sunday brunch tomorrow

I’m bored and not tired enough to sleep. So I’m going to tell you all about the delicious meal I decided to make for tomorrow! And let me tell you, it took me FOREVER to decide what to make. I wasn’t hungry when I was planning it, and I just couldn’t pin down one flavor I wanted to focus on. I finally forced myself to stick to brunch foods… but then I was so confused as to what to do with the eggs, and if I should do meats, and what baked good to do. This is the final product. Pretty decent meal, in my opinion!
